Continuing Professional Development
  • I undertake at least 50 hours per year as a means of maintaining and enhancing standards of practice. The UK Council for Psychotherapy has defined CPD as "the systematic maintenance, improvement and broadening of knowledge, awareness of skills, abilities and the development of personal and professional qualities necessary for effective practice throughout the practitioner's working life."

General

As a Member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), I am bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and subject to the Professional Conduct Procedure for the time being in force.

I work for a variety of employment agencies, addiction recovery programmes and the NHS in both prisons and hospitals. I combine this work with a private practice.

My theoretical approach is integrative/psychodynamic. I work within a psychodynamic psychotherapy framework and am UKCP Registered.

Supervision

I am able to offer Clinical Supervision to groups and individuals. Please apply for details.

For a free, initial, telephone consultation and to find out more, call Henry Adeane on 07836 509636

I am occasionally available for speaking and training engagements.

The Psychotherapy and Supervision practice is based in Babraham, near Duxford, within easy reach of Cambridge, Saffron Walden and Newmarket.
